That picture was the in the pits at Brands hatch in 1966 I believe.

Here is the car, now in the USA with modified arches etc.

And this is Dennis' car as it left here last week having had his roof fitted. (It's not painted yet!)

More proof that Ivor liked soft springs!

It still won though.

Wouldn't that be after Andy Rouse had 'improved' it?

But I take your point, the picture I last posted was not at the Brands Race with Chris Meek at the helm.

Who did they sell it to, before Rod Leach had it? Was it Stewart somebody?

There's an article on a "G10" coming out in Classic Cars any day now.

So, an enthusiast has brought the G10 back to UK. This is great news. Obviously, the car had received many American style modifications and is now being prepared to the highest standards. I am off to see it and offer an opinion and help where I can in a week or so.

I'd expect to see it at Goodwood at some stage :D

I hope the restoration won't include that hideous bonnet bulge!

It will be to the Brands Hatch specifcation. They are having trouble with customs not accepting it as historically significant at the moment

Body repairs are coming on well. Having the mould has really helped! We have yet to do the original style wheel arch extensions like those we did for Dennis. We have used the original bulkheads and inner panels:
